Former Hearts players are to take on a team of fire fighters in memory of Ewan Williamson, the fireman who lost his life in the summer.

The firefighter was killed attending a major blaze at the Balmoral Pub in Dalry Road, which was a popular meeting place for Hearts fans before and after games at Tynecastle for over 50 years.

The match will take place on Sunday 15th November at Hearts training Academy at Riccarton. Ex-Hearts defender Alan McLaren will be in the team.
